Colorado receives singular vote in preseason college football AP Poll

Colorado received one vote in the preseason AP Poll

After receiving two votes in last week’s initial US LBM Coaches Poll, the Colorado Buffaloes picked up one vote in Monday’s release of the preseason college football AP Top 25 poll.

Colorado earning a singular vote means that of the 62 AP Poll voters, one ranked the Buffs at No. 25 on their ballot. A total of 42 Football Bowl Subdivision teams received at least one vote.

Five Big 12 Conference teams were featured in the AP Top 25: No. 12 Utah, No. 17 Oklahoma State, No. 18 Kansas State, No. 21 Arizona and No. 22 Kansas. Additionally, Iowa State picked up 33 votes and West Virginia took 17.

Colorado’s Week 2 opponent, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, received 16 votes.
