Among the recruits that are on North Carolina’s 2025 recruiting board is five-star power forward Nate Ament. He’s a Top 10 player in the class and has interest from a lot of top programs so far.
Ament has a total of 29 offers in his recruitment and this fall, he’s eyeing some visits to programs. While Ament hasn’t set any visits officially, he’s in the process of doing that and his list is filled with some big programs.
Per HSTopRecruiting, Ament is currently setting up visits with UConn, Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina, and Virginia. As the post notes, the visits are still to be determined but will happen sometime this fall.

For North Carolina, that’s some tough competition. The list features the two-time defending national champions in UConn, plus two Blue Blood programs in Duke and Kentucky as well as a very strong Virginia program.
The Tar Heels do have visits scheduled with other recruits this fall and adding Ament to the list would be huge.
The 6-foot-9, 185-pound Ament is ranked No.7 nationally, the No. 4 power forward and No. 1 player in the state of Virginia per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
