Watch: Texans WR Tank Dell returns in style with touchdown vs. Steelers

Tank Dell looked like a bat out of hell in his first game back from injury with the Houston Texans.

Welcome back to the end zone, Tank Dell.

Dell, the Houston Texans’ star receiver, made sure fans remember that he’s still a part of the “five-headed monster” offense with a 34-yard touchdown reception to help Houston take a 7-0 lead over the Pittsburgh Steelers Friday night.

Dell, who suffered a season-ending broken fibula in early December, looked fully healthy and ready to pick up where he left off a season ago.

On a third-and-9 play call, quarterback C.J. Stroud shook off a defender to give Dell a chance to break free. After the catch, Dell shook off two defenders to walk into the end zone for six points.

Drafted out of the University of Houston in the third round, everyone in H-Town knew Dell was a human highlight reel in the making. He led the nation in receiving yards and averaged 17.9 yards per catch during his final season with the Cougars.

Last year, Dell and Stroud became one of the league’s more ferocious duos from Week 2 through Week 11, where they connected for  675 yards and seven receiving touchdowns.

Friday night could just be the start of an All-Pro season for Stroud and a Pro Bowl one for Dell.

The Texans will recevie the ball to begin the second half.
