DeShaun Foster admits it’s an awesome feeling.

UCLA Bruins head coach DeShaun Foster is being inducted into the Tustin High SFootball Hall of Fame, a huge honor for the first-year head coach. The long-time UCLA assistant became a star during his high school days at Tustin.

He rushed for 6,296 career rushing yards and 90 touchdowns during his playing days while setting Orange County records.

The Bruns head coach spoke about the feeling of joining the Tustin Hall of Fame, per James H. Williams of The Los Angeles Daily News.

“It’s awesome,” Foster said. “We’ve had a lot of great players come from Tustin. So just to be in that hall of fame with the rest of the greats, I’m pretty excited.”

Foster will be inducted during halftime of Tustin’s season opener on August 23 against El Toro. That comes just days before his first-ever game as the UCLA head coach, so a lot in store for Foster coming up.
