As the UCLA Bruins football team gets ready for the 2024 season, the recruiting news for DeShaun Foster and his future Bruins squad continues to roll in. Nehemiah Johnson announced his commitment to join UCLA in a post on X.

Johnson has a tall frame and stands at 6’5 while weighing 320 lbs. Johnson is a three-star athlete out of Orange California. Johnson was getting recruited hard by several other schools, with UMass being the biggest on his tail.
UCLA first offered Johnson back in June of 2024. Currently, the Bruins have the 12th-best recruiting class for the 2025 season under Coach Foster. The Bruins currently have 16 commits for the season. Ohio State is currently the top recruiting class for the 2025 season.

The 2025 Bruins are going to start the season on August 30th against former conference rival Utah. That game will take place at the Rose Bowl. The first conference game for the 2025 season is slated for mid-September, on the road at the Indiana Hoosiers.
