Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey reveals his current playing weight

Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey revealed his current playing weight

The Baltimore Ravens saw cornerback Marlon Humphrey go through a disappointing 2023 season with multiple serious injuries. The ailment slowed Humphrey down and contributed to him not looking or feeling like himself.

Humphrey is back on the practice field and doing well to start Baltimore’s training camp. He talked about his body transformation, and when asked about his playing weight, he said he’s at around 190 pounds, which is a difference from the 200 pounds he’s been playing at over the last few years.

“I’m around 190 [pounds]. I came in [at] 195. I’ve been playing the past couple of seasons around 200 or so, so basically, ever since I tore my [pectoral] – around 25 [years] old – I got my grown-man weight on me, and it just never went off. It’s a young man’s game, so I decided to get a little lower.”

Humphrey mentioned that it’s a “young man’s game” now, so losing some weight should help him keep up with speedier receivers. Based on his past performances, his 2023 year was more than likely an outlier, and if he can stay healthy throughout 2024, he should have a bounce-back year.
