Kyle Hamilton was given a low rating in the upcoming Madden NFL 25

Following an All-Pro second season that cemented Kyle Hamilton as not only one of the best safeties but also defenders in the entire NFL, you would think his rating in the upcoming Madden NFL 25 video game would reflect that.

However, that is not the case at all. The Baltimore Ravens star defensive back is currently tied for the seventh-highest-ranked safety in the game with an 89 overall rating.

Hamilton was perhaps the best player on one of the league’s top defenses last season and has been widely praised as perhaps the league’s top safety, so it is strange that Madden has multiple other safeties—some of whom are coming off down seasons—ahead of the first-team All-Pro.

Per PFF War, Hamilton has been the NFL’s most valuable safety since entering the league in 2022 as a first-round pick of the Ravens.

If Hamilton picks up his third year in the league where he left off a season ago, his rating will surely rise to reflect his position as one of the truly elite players the NFL has to offer.
