Former Titans’ RB suffers serious injury in training camp

Hoping for a speedy recovery for D’Onta Foreman.

Former Tennessee Titans running back D’Onta Foreman has suffered a serious injury in Cleveland Browns training camp. The 28-year-old was reportedly injured during a punt drill, placed on a backboard, and carted off. He has since been taken into an ambulance.

You never like to see any injuries, especially ones this serious in nature. If there is any good news here, Foreman was sitting up and talking with the Browns’ training staff before being placed on the cart.

Foreman signed a one-year deal with Cleveland in the offense, looking to secure a backup role behind star running back Nick Chubb, something he is plenty familiar with.

During his two seasons with the Titans, Foreman amassed 661 yards on 155 carries and three touchdowns. The Texas product received the lion’s share of carries during the 2021 season in place of the injured Derrick Henry and rushed for 566 yards on 133 carries.

That performance propelled him to a starting role with the Carolina Panthers, where he recorded career highs in carries (203), rushing yards (914), and touchdowns (5) during the 2022 NFL season.

We hope that Foreman has a speedy recovery.
