[autotag]Sheldon Creed[/autotag]’s move to Joe Gibbs Racing was expected to bring the No. 18 Xfinity team back to victory lane, but it hasn’t occurred yet. In 2024, Creed has three second-place finishes, all of which have been agonizing. It has been a season that closely resembled Daniel Hemric’s with Joe Gibbs Racing in 2021, and it could end similarly.
When discussing Creed on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, Catchfence’s Lee Spencer mentioned [autotag]Haas Factory Team[/autotag] as a possibility for the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. Haas Factory Team is a new NASCAR team with Gene Haas and Joe Custer as Stewart-Haas Racing shuts down after 2024. Cole Custer will drive the No. 41 Cup car with two openings in the Xfinity Series.
Hailie Deegan has been linked to Haas Factory Team in the Xfinity Series, so Creed could join her as a teammate in 2025. The driver of the No. 18 car likely can’t get better equipment outside of Joe Gibbs Racing, but Haas Factory Team could rival Stewart-Haas Racing’s competitiveness in the Xfinity Series. It will be fascinating to see what happens with Creed for 2025.
