Packers to wear new white alternate helmet in Week 7 vs. Texans

The Packers will be wearing their new white alternate helmets when they take on the Houston Texans in Week 7 at Lambeau Field.

The Green Bay Packers announced a new white alternate helmet on Thursday. So, when will Packers fans see the new look?

The team announced the white helmets and white uniform combo will be worn on Oct. 20 against the Houston Texans. It’s a Week 7 game scheduled for a noon kickoff at Lambeau Field.

The Packers are calling it the “Winter Warning” game.

The team wants fans attending the game to unite with players and wear white to Lambeau Field.

The new uniform set includes a white helmet with the traditional green “G” logo and a pair of green stripes, with a white facemask. The Packers will pair the alternate helmet with the team’s previously worn “Color Rush” white uniform and pant combination, which features green and gold stripes.

It’s possible the Week 7 game between the Packers and Texans — two upcoming teams with young, ascending quarterbacks — could get flexed into a better timeslot. Jordan Love vs. C.J. Stroud will be a big draw, especially if the Packers and Texans get off to hot starts in 2024.
