Former Wisconsin running back Braelon Allen is making an early impact at New York Jets training camp.
Jets writers and others in attendance are already expressing surprise about his combination of size and speed — something Badgers fans were made well aware of during Allen’s breakout true freshman season as a 17-year-old.

Allen projects to enter his rookie NFL season as the Jets No. 2 running back behind star Breece Hall. He is expected to have a role from the start, one that should only grow as he continues to show his talent.
