Michigan football shows off new locker rooms in Schembechler Hall

Super sleek! #GoBlue

To the victors go the spoils and ‘The Victors’ was heard a lot last year, from the first game of the season all the way to the national championship and its aftermath.

The Michigan football team won every game last year, going 15-0, and now the players have a locker room commensurate with the best team in the nation.

One of the offseason projects for the maize and blue was the renovation of the in-house locker rooms inside the Schembechler Hall facility. With a month and a day until the 2024 season kicks off for the Wolverines, the team unveiled the new digs that the players will see nearly every day for the next five months.

Very sharp, and a departure from the brightly lit locker room of the past. Now Michigan football has a locker room that is in the same conversation as the other top programs in college football.

In addition to the locker room itself, there is more access to player amenities, including a pool table, a golf simulator, a giant video board, and a barber shop.

While this is amazing for the current players, certainly this will also help the Wolverines’ recruiting efforts, as prospective players have a lot more to partake in than previous teams now that the renovation is complete.
