Emma Malabuyo, just 21, is competing in the 2024 Olympics in Paris. She is part of the Philippines team and performed on Sunday morning. Her scores are complete and are as follows:
- Vault – 13.266
- Uneven bars – 12.500 (39th)
- Balance beam – 12.233 (36th)
- Floor exercise – 13.100 (20th)
- All-around – 51.099 (29th)
After three of the five subdivisions in the women’s artistic gymnastics qualification, Levi Jung-Ruivivar and Malabuyo are in the running for spots in the all-around final. The rule that came into play to eliminate Jordan Chiles from moving in could come into play as the event goes on.
But, only the top 24 in all-around and the top eight in each apparatus will advance to the final. So, it will be interesting to see if the Bruins star can move on.

Malabuyo committed to UCLA In 2017 and signed in 2019. She joined the Bruins team for the 2020-2021 season. She performed a perfect 10.0 back in the balance beam against UC Davis.
