The 2024 college football season is almost here, which means it is time to get ready to root for your Colorado Buffaloes as they return to the Big 12 after a 12-year sabbatical. They will be joined by the Arizona Wildcats, Arizona State Sun Devils, and Utah Utes.
The season begins at home with a showdown against FCS national power North Dakota State, who has won nine national titles since 2011 spanning three different head coaches. The Buffs will play back-to-back road games against rivals, the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Colorado State Rams. They will open Big 12 play in Boulder when the Baylor Bears come to town. September comes to a close with a road trip against the UCF Knights.
Following the open week, Colorado will host the Kansas State Wildcats for their first matchup since 2010. They will then head on the road to face the Arizona Wildcats and host the Cincinnati Bearcats. The Buffs kick off November with a road trip to Lubbock to face the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
The rest of the calendar will have home matchups against the Utah Utes and Oklahoma State Cowboys sandwiched around a trip to Kansas City, Missouri, to face the Kansas Jayhawks.
