The North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball program won’t begin a new season until November but they are enjoying their time off this Summer in a big way.
The Tar Heels took a trip to the Outer Banks in North Carolina, sharing some bonding time as the team prepares for a new season. With some new faces on the roster and familiar ones back, it’s a great opportunity for them to get to know each other and do a little relaxing.
Take a look at the photos from the trip with the team, posted by the official basketball program’s X account:

The weekend included hanging by the pool, by the beach, playing games and enjoy time together. This is an annual Summer thing for the program and it’s nice for the team to get out before the real work starts.
North Carolina is coming off an Atlantic Coast Conference regular season title and a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. Their season was cut short with a loss to Alabama in the Sweet 16. But they return key players from last season including RJ Davis who was among the top players in all of college basketball.
