Payton’s pedigree as a Super Bowl-winning coach has preceded him in Denver. But is this ranking too high, or just right? On one hand, Payton has turned the Broncos from a five-win to an eight-win team. On the other hand, it isn’t the playoff or Super Bowl-contending results expected from his big contract.
