Michigan football WR transfer destination revealed

Best of luck to him. #GoBlue

Michigan football didn’t have a particularly active situation when it came to the transfer portal this offseason. The Wolverines lost a handful of scholarship players while gaining an equal handful. But not everyone who entered the portal found a quick landing place.

Such was the case for wide receiver Cristian Dixon, the speedy receiver who originally was a four-star from Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei. Dixon, despite having been in Ann Arbor for three years, only ever registered stats in one game — in his freshman year against Northern Illinois, one catch for 7 yards.

Finally, with training camps set to commence soon, Dixon announced his transfer destination, choosing to play at Central Missouri.

The Mules are a Division II program in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association. Dixon will have three years of eligibility remaining at Central Missouri.

The Wolverines did bring in a receiver in the transfer portal in C.J. Charleston while also welcoming back Amorion Walker, who transferred for one semester to Ole Miss as a cornerback.
