DeShaun Foster discusses running back room for 2024

Foster sure loves his running backs.

Head coach DeShaun Foster had his first Big Ten media day.  While it was not all smooth, he did give some good answers about the upcoming UCLA Bruins football team.

One of the questions was from Will Decker from the LAFBNetwork. He asked about the running back room, most notably with TJ Harden and Keegan Jones returning, along with Jalen Berger coming over from Michigan State.

Here is what Foster had to say about it:

“I’m really excited about my running back room. We have TJ Harden and Keegan Jones coming back. TJ’s a bigger power back going into his junior year, played a lot as a freshman, really came out of his shell last season. Keegan was used as a utility player last season, but played running back all the way up to that. He’s going back to running back this season also, so excited for that. He is an explosive kid, when he gets the ball in his hand, can really see a difference in his speed. Then, excited to have depth. Another player that has been in the Big Ten, we are just excited to have Jalen around”
