Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow’s new hairdo is making waves… and not for all the right reasons.
Burrow showed up to training camp this summer with a very short, blonde haircut that reminds you more of Eminem, WWE wrestler Cody Rhodes or the lead singer of a 2000s alt-rock band than the quarterback we’re used to.
As he talked about his new haircut with reporters, Burrow admitted the bleached hairdo came about because he “got bored” (via NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe).
Yes, the new Burrow haircut came about from good, old-fashioned boredom.
If Burrow plays like an MVP-caliber quarterback this year, Bengals fans will all be bleaching their hair to celebrate a great season in Cincinnati.
If he falters out of the gate, we doubt this new hairdo lasts long.
