UNC basketball extends offer to rising in-state recruit

North Carolina is involved with a big prospect in the state of North Carolina in the 2025 class.

Hubert Davis has been active on the recruiting trail watching prospects and giving out offers. And on Monday, he offered a rising in-state recruit for the 2025 class.

Four-star combo guard Isaiah Denis was the latest recruit to receive an offer from UNC in the 2025 recruiting class. He posted on X (Formerly Twitter) to announce that UNC is officially in the mix for his recruitment. The offer came a day after Davis and the Tar Heels offered two players in the 2026 class as well.

The Davidson, North Carolina product plays at Davidson Day High School and has 24 offers in his recruitment so far with Arizona State, Clemson, Florida State, Kansas, Florida, Virginia, and NC State among others showing interest in addition to UNC now.

Denis posted a picture of Jeff McInnis while announcing he had received a scholarship:

The 6-foot-5, 165-pound Denis is a combo guard and ranked No. 42 nationally, the No. 9 combo guard, and No. 2 player in the state of North Carolina per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.

He’s the 18th player to receive a scholarship offer from North Carolina in the 2025 recruiting cycle. The Tar Heels have yet to land a commitment in the class.
