It was nearly eight years ago when a joke on The Simpsons turned out to be an unintentional prediction of the future (we see this happen a lot with the legendary animated series).
In Season 11, Bart to the Future showed a world in which Lisa Simpson was president, and while speaking to her staff, she had this to say: “As you know, we’re inherited quite a budget crunch from President Trump …”
Eerie! But here’s why this episode is popping up again in 2024: Lisa is wearing a similar outfit to Kamala Harris, who could end up as the Democratic party nominee after President Joe Biden dropped out:
