Team WNBA upset Team USA 117-109 in the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game on Saturday night, and though she was coming off the bench for the victorious squad, [autotag]Angel Reese[/autotag] made her presence known.
She played 18 minutes in the game, recording a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. She did it on decently efficient shooting, as well, as she was 5 of 10 from the field.
That’s certainly what Reese has been known for, both at LSU and since joining the Chicago Sky. She’s on pace to set the rookie record and has already set a league record for consecutive double-doubles.
Reese was joined by fellow rookie star Caitlin Clark, who started the game but only scored four points despite playing 26 minutes. Clark shot just 2 of 9 in the game.
Both are leading candidates to win Rookie of the Year, but it was Reese who made the bigger impact in this game.
