After playing several high-profile matchups against each other both in college and the WNBA, [autotag]Angel Reese[/autotag] and [autotag]Caitlin Clark[/autotag] are joining forces on Saturday night.
The pair are teammates in the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game, headlining Team WNBA which will square off against Team USA, the contingent of players selected to represent the nation at the 2024 Paris Olympics later this summer.
Reese said that she thinks it will be the first of many times that the duo are All-Star teammates in an interview with ESPN’s Michelle Steele.
“Everybody can cheer for both of us for one day, which is gonna be cool,” Reese said per On3. “I’m excited. This is gonna be the first of many. I know we’re gonna be on All-Star teams together in the future. Olympic teams together in the future, too.
“I’m just excited just to be here in this moment and everybody coming and being able to watch. I know it’s gonna be a sold-out crowd. Women’s sports is going into a rise, and I’m happy.”
Reese and Clark will take on Team USA in the All-Star Game, which starts at 7:30 p.m. CT on Saturday and will be televised on ABC.
