Amid an incredible, record-setting rookie season, former LSU women’s basketball star [autotag]Angel Reese[/autotag] has been named a WNBA All-Star.
Alongside former college-turned-professional rival Caitlin Clark — Reese’s main competition for WNBA Rookie of the Year — she headlines a Team WNBA squad that will face off against Team USA, the group of players selected to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympics later this month.
Reese’s strong play in the post has translated to the WNBA level. She’s averaging a double-double and is on pace to set the single-season rookie record. She’s also set the WNBA record for consecutive double-doubles with a streak of 15 games that ended earlier this month.
