USC offers 2026 pass rusher JaReylan McCoy

USC goes into Mississippi looking for pass rushing help.

The USC Trojans have offered 2026 defensive end JaReylan McCoy. The 6-7, 250-pound prospect from Tupelo, Miss., would make a great new addition to the defensive front coached by Eric Henderson and Shaun Nua. McCoy is rated the top prospect in Mississippi at his position.

The length is already there, and with two years to go until McCoy actually starts playing college ball, the 250 weight number means that USC (or any other program) would not have to initiate an overhaul of a weight program. As McCoy grows into his body and continuously learns how to blend his length and his power, he could become a very formidable defensive force in the college game.

USC has to continue to bring in defensive linemen so that the Trojans have the requisite amount of depth in the Big Ten. USC needs to build defensive fronts which can withstand the ravages of attrition. This is one more attempt to do so for the 2026 class.
