The 2025 recruiting board continues to take shape for Hubert Davis and thed North Carolina Tar Heels as they are seeking their first commitment for that class still. The program has a good amount of targets on their board that they are pursuing and as we get into the fall months, things will start to heat up.
One target that North Carolina has offered is Cameron Boozer, the son of former Duke star Carlos Boozer and the twin of Cayden Boozer.
The five-star recruit is one of the best players in the 2025 class and despite being a Duke legacy recruit, is there a chance UNC could land him? One national recruiting analyst hinted that there’s still a chance that the Tar Heels get a visit.
During a recent edition of the 247Sports College Basketball Show, Travis Branham mentioned the Tar Heels while talking about Boozer:
“There have been other schools involved,” Travis Branham noted on this week’s edition of the 247Sports College Basketball Show while breaking down where things stand in the high-profile Cameron Boozer sweepstakes, “and rumblings if he could potentially take a visit to North Carolina.”
That’s certainly an interesting tidbit.
The Tar Heels haven’t been considered a strong contender for Boozer in his recruitment but getting a visit could change things. However, that still feels like a long shot at this point.
