Trevor Lawrence seen rocking new Jacksonville Jaguars throwback jersey

Former Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence was seen rocking the Jacksonville Jaguars’ new throwback uniforms.

With a new five-year contract extension fresh under his belt, former Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence is the face and future of the Jacksonville Jaguars. With that distinction comes certain responsibilities in terms of how the team markets itself.

That includes the marketing of new uniforms. With that, Lawrence was seen front and center donning the Jaguars’ new throwback uniforms for the 2024 NFL season, unveiled by the team across its social media platforms Thursday.

The uniform is a callback to the Jaguars’ early years in the league in lieu of the franchise’s upcoming 30th season. Lawrence is featured front and center promoting the uniforms alongside wide receiver Christian Kirk and tight end Evan Engram.

The look, officially titled “prowler,” will debut in Jacksonville’s Week 5 contest against the division rival Indianapolis Colts.

Social media users praised the look, with a common sentiment being that the Jaguars should make the uniforms their permanent fixture at all home games.

“These are legit contenders for best jersey in the NFL. Now make them the default! Along with the logo, please!” one user wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

“Man I can’t wait to rock these.. who’s copping that??,” Kirk posted to X.

The Jaguars have attracted a good following of Clemson fans because of Lawrence and his former teammate Travis Etienne. The tandem won the 2018 national championship together at Clemson and were both first-round draft picks by the Jaguars in 2021.

Lawrence was the No. 1 overall pick while Etienne was selected No. 25 overall. Lawrence received a five-year extension with the Jaguars in June that will reportedly pay him $55 million a year.
