Hubert Davis and the North Carolina Tar Heels basketball program received some good news on Thursday afternoon regarding the recruitment for a 2025 center.
Eric Reibe cut his list of 37 total offers down to a top 11, announcing he will be focusing on North Carolina, UConn, Kentucky, Kansas, Creighton, Harvard, Indiana, Ohio State, West Virginia, Oregon, and Stanford moving forward. It’s an impressive list featuring blue blood programs as well as prestigious academic institutions as well.
The Potomac, Maryland native has seen his recruitment rise recently, performing well in his junior season. With that bump in his game, schools have been after the center in hopes of landing one of the top big men in the class.

The next step for the recruit is to take official visits this fall, giving us a better look at who the real contenders are in his recruitment. North Carolina appears to be in good shape for Reibe and it would be surprising to not see them get a visit.
The 7-foot, 235-pound Reibe is ranked No. 46 nationally, the No. 4 center and No. 1 player in the state of Maryland per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
