Kansas defensive end to visit Nebraska on July 27

The three-star prospect plays for Maize South High School in Wichita, Kansas.

A defensive end from Kansas has scheduled a visit with the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Hunter Higgins will visit the Lincoln campus on July 27.

His visit will come just days after his July 25 visit to the Oklahoma Sooners. The three-star prospect plays for Maize South High School in Wichita, Kansas.

National recruiting analyst Tom Lemming had high praise for Higgins last December. He wrote,

(Higgins) should be become a national recruit. Excellent length, quick hands and feet and shows explosive moves to the ball. Tenacious and tough. Terrific attitude. 3.9 GPA.

The recruit has been a popular player recently. In 2024, he received ten scholarship offers, including from Michigan, USC, and Ole Miss.
