Happy Thursday! Just 44 days until the start of the UCLA Bruins football season. Practices are going to be underway soon. Before that, we have a couple of players we want to recognize. Both are listed as 44 on the current UCLA Football roster:
Devin Aupui is a 6’5, 270lbs defensive line out of Oxnard California. The redshirt junior is expected to be a leader on the defensive side. After playing at Pacifica High School, he originally enrolled at Notre Dame in 2021. After coming over to UCLA, he played six games that season. In 2022, he saw action in eight games, and last season he played against Coastal Carolina and San Diego State. Here is a clip of him working hard with the Bruins all the way back in 2021:

Peter Bario is one of the running backs listed on the current roster. It will be interesting to see where Bario sits after the practices are complete. The 6’3, 250lbs redshirt freshman played at Sherman Oaks California, and came to UCLA in the fall of 2023. He has yet to see a game with the Bruins but hopes to change that in 2024.
