Tanook Hines, the 6-foot-1, 185-pound wide receiver from Houston, chose USC over Texas, Notre Dame and Baylor. Hines is a dual-sport athlete who also runs track for Dekaney High School where he posted a blazing 10.45 100m time and a 20.71 200m time as a junior this season.
Hines is the third receiver in the Trojans’ 2025 class.
We talked about how Lincoln Riley is loading up on wide receivers for Julian Lewis and making sure the incoming USC commit is being catered to in a very necessary way. We also talked about the specific attributes and skills Tanook Hines brings to the table, as USC continues to affirm its reputation as a football program which brings in and develops the best wide receivers in the country. Hines is in a position to take the torch from Drake London, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jordan Addison, and the other great USC receivers who have made this program a home for elite pass-catchers over the past several years.
