Ask any college football expert, and they typically have Notre Dame in the top 10 of any preseason rankings they put together. It’s proof that expectations will be high for the Irish with [autotag]Marcus Freeman[/autotag] entering his third season as coach and a plethora of talent on his roster.
One of many college football fans putting together their list of the top teams heading in 2024 is Big Game Boomer, known for his many lists he puts out on social media. The time has come for him to list what he believe to be the top 50 teams ahead of the season. The Irish clocked in at ninth on his list:

It’s worth noting that the Irish rank higher than any opponent they play this season. That includes Texas A&M, the Irish’s opponent in their first game, which will be on the road and many believe will determine the course of the rest of the season. We’ll see how well this holds up.
