We are down to 45 days until the start of the UCLA Bruins Football season. As we have mentioned several times, the Bruins will start the season on the road in Hawaii. Before that day comes though, we have a ton to discuss. Today, we want to focus on a pair of 45’s on the roster.
1st is redshirt sophomore Chase Barry. The 6’4, 205lbs punter came to UCLA from San Juan Capristarno California, where he played his high school football at JSerra Catholic High School. While in High School, he also played ice hockey and volleyball. He was a five-star recruit and expects to be the starting punter in 2024. Here is a throwback to when Barry elected for UCLA:

Second is redshirt freshman Marquise Villahermosa. He is a 5’10, 170lbs from Los Angeles. He played high school football at Warren High School and enrolled at UCLA in the summer of 2023. He played in one game before deciding to redshirt with the Bruins. Villahermosa was named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the winter of 2023.
