NASCAR TV broadcast booths receive big updates for 2025 season

NASCAR’s TV broadcast booths receive big updates for the 2025 season. What is the latest on the NASCAR broadcast booths for 2025?

NASCAR silly season isn’t exclusively about the drivers, as the on-air personalities in the broadcast booths are expected to undergo a significant shuffle. This comes as NASCAR starts its new TV deal for the 2025 season, featuring new additions with Warner Bros. Discovery and Prime Video. So, what’s the latest on the NASCAR TV broadcast booths for 2025?

According to Sports Business Journal’s Adam Stern, Marty Smith, a former ESPN NASCAR reporter, has talked with Warner Bros. Discovery and Prime Video about joining their NASCAR TV booths in 2025. Steve Letarte has done the same, as he currently covers NASCAR on NBC. Finally, Adam Alexander is seen as the favorite to take over as the lead play-by-play commentator for The CW.

Alexander would cover the NASCAR Xfinity Series full-time if he became the play-by-play announcer for The CW next year. The rumors won’t die down anytime soon, as NASCAR enters a new era of television starting in 2025. The NASCAR TV booths are expected to look much different, but the coverage should be top-tier as the new deal begins soon.
