UCLA cornerback commit transfers high schools

Moving to another high school.

One of the Bruins’ top recruits at the cornerback position just made a big commitment. But his commitment has nothing to do with UCLA.

Kuron Jabari Jr., a three-star cornerback who committed to UCLA back in March, is transferring high schools. Jabari Jr. began his high school playing career for the Temecula Valley High School Golden Bears but has now transferred to the Centennial High School in Corona, California.

One of the more successful high school programs in southern California, one can only speculate why Jabari Jr. has transferred. That said, Jabari Jr.’s decision has nearly no baring on his future with the UCLA Bruins.

Jabari Jr. is one of several prominent class of 2025 commitments for the Bruins, rounding out a list of three and four-star recruits on their board.

The Bruins certainly have work to do before their commits step onto the field, but present the program with an opportunity to build around young head coach DeShaun Foster and create a consistent winning culture.
