The North Carolina Tar Heels are one of the teams in pursuit of dual-sport athlete Kendre Harrison.
The Reidsville, North Carolina native is not only a top 10 prospect in football but a top 30 prospect in basketball. And he has teams pursuing him for both sports in his college career.
As Harrison gets set to trim his list of programs down to a top 10 on the football side of things, he’s impressing on the basketball court as part of the AAU circuit this Summer. The four-star power forward recorded a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds on Saturday afternoon at the Nike EYBL Peach Jam event.
He did it in front of Hubert Davis and some other high-level coaches:

While Harrison will primarily focus on football as a tight end on the college level, he did express interest in playing basketball as well. That’s where in-state North Carolina could have the advantage.
Davis and the Tar Heels offered Harrison last month, meaning he now has offers from both the basketball and football programs. It’s tough to tell where UNC stands in this recruitment as of now but it would be shocking not to see them on his updated list that releases next week.
