Serena Williams seemingly rips Pat McAfee at ESPYs over previous Caitlin Clark comments

Serena Williams did not forget about Pat McAfee’s wild Caitlin Clark comments.

Serena Williams pulled no punches with men at the ESPYs who she felt shouldn’t have been speaking about women, including ESPN’s Pat McAfee.

Earlier this year, McAfee put his foot in his mouth with some really awful comments on Caitlin Clark. He called her a “white [expletive]” during an attempt to prove a point about the WNBA hating on the rookie. The joke was bad. The comment was even worse. And Serena Williams didn’t forget about it.

During a sidebar with Quinta Brunson and sister Venus Thursday, Serena called out several men— like Harrison Butker —who she felt were not helping the dialogue around women’s sports. That list seemingly included Pat McAfee, whom she chided. “Just don’t use the ‘B’ word,” she explained, before saying, “You know who you are.” (Warning: NSFW language.)
