Who is the best fantasy football value on the New York Jets?

One New York Jets wide receiver might be a great fantasy football value.

A revamped offensive line and a healthy Aaron Rodgers are paramount to the New York Jets‘ projections for the upcoming season. But one playmaker who isn’t getting much offseason busy might be one to watch this fall for the Jets.

An ACL tear cut short wide receiver Mike Williams’ season last year with the Los Angeles Chargers. But if healthy, Williams can be a difference-maker for the Jets.

In 2021 across 16 games, Williams had 76 catches for 1,146 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. And in 2022, he had 63 catches for 895 yards with four touchdowns in a season where he was limited to 13 games.

If the Jets can get the kind of impact from Williams seen in the seasons prior to his injury, then the 29-year-old can and will be a significant part of what should be an improved offense.

Bleacher Report’s Gary Davenport underscored this by saying that Williams is a fantasy value pick while noting his injury last year:

But as recently as 2022, Williams was a top-25 wide receiver in terms of PPR points per game, and playing opposite Garrett Wilson should mean lots of single coverage. He’s a steal at this modest ADP if he can stay healthy.

Williams has the potential to be a tremendous No. 2 alongside Garrett Wilson.
