Jesse Simonton of [autotag]On3[/autotag] recently ranked what he believes will be the top 10 games within the SEC this season. LSU has two games that have cracked the top 10.
Coming in at No. 6 on the top 10 list is LSU’s game against Ole Miss. Last season, the Tigers traveled to Oxford, Mississippi, with a 3-1 record after losing to Florida State and then beating Grambling State, Mississippi State and Arkansas. In a game full of offensive firepower, Ole Miss came out on top 55-49. The Tigers will be looking for redemption this year.
Coming in at No. 5 on the list is the annual Alabama vs LSU game. The last time Alabama came to Baton Rouge [autotag]Jayden Daniels[/autotag] and LSU stunned the Tide in double overtime with a gutsy two-point conversion play to win the game and eventually win the SEC West. This will be the first year without [autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] so it will be interesting to see how the Tide looks this fall.
