Caitlin Clark and Julie Vanloo got into a brief skirmish during Wednesday’s Mystics-Fever game.

During a tough first half against the Washington Mystics on Wednesday, Indiana Fever rookie guard Caitlin Clark got into a brief skirmish with Mystics guard Julie Vanloo.

While it was indeed more a skirmish than an all-out scuffle, you could tell that Clark and Vanloo were not happy with each other and that it was hard to tell who first got frustrated in the encounter.

You can’t always expect opposing athletes to always be happy with each other in the peak of competition, this was a really curious exchange of unpleasantries between Clark and Vanloo.

We’re sure the Fever underachieving on the court was part of it, but still, it was quite the exchange to watch.
