It was not just San Antonio Spurs top pick Stephon Castle turning heads in the Spurs’ 89-67 blowout of the Chinese National Team in the final contest of the California Classic Summer League on this past Tuesday (July 9) night.
Former University of North Carolina forward and the Spurs’ final second round draft pick from the 2024 cohort, Harrison Ingram, played very well for San Antonio as well, notching his first double-double with the Spurs. Ingram put up 16 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals in just 26 minutes of floor time with San Antonio in the exhibition win.
He shot a very good 6-of-10 from the floor overall, a sizzling 3-of-5 from the floor overall, but made but one of his 3 attempts from the free throw line in the victory over China at Sacramento, California’s Golden 1 Center.
