Four-star ATH Dylan Robinson includes Huskies in top three

Four-star athlete and top 200 recruit Dylan Robinson included the Huskies in his top three schools ahead of his July 18 commitment date.

Four-star 2025 athlete Dylan Robinson of Bonita (California) High School announced his finalists on social media on Tuesday, including Washington alongside UCLA and Notre Dame.

Robinson, who has been recruited as a wide receiver, cornerback, and safety during his process, is ranked as the No. 7 athlete and No. 19 player in California in the 2025 class according to the 247Sports Composite. At 6-foot-3, 190 pounds, his body composition lends well to any of those three spots, and Washington has yet to show their hand regarding his potential position on Montlake.

A part of Washington’s star-studded official visit weekend on May 31, Robinson would be the fifth Husky from that group if he commits to the Huskies.

Quarterback Dash Beierly and offensive lineman Jake Flores were committed to Washington coming in to that visit. Edge rusher Devin Hyde followed on June 11, and the Huskies also secured wide receiver Chris Lawson on Sunday.

A supremely talented player on both sides of the ball, Robinson would fit nicely in a Washington defensive backfield that added Peyton Waters, Rahim Wright, Elias Johnson, and Rahshawn Clark in the 2024 class and has 2025 commitments from corners Ramonz Adams and D’Aryhian Clemons.

With Kamren Fabiculanan, Makell Esteen, and Sacramento State grad transfer Cameron Broussard’s eligibility dwindling, locking in a player of Robinson’s caliber would go a long way towards setting up safeties coach Vinnie Sunseri and the Huskies for the future.

Robinson is set to choose between the Huskies, Bruins, and Fighting Irish, the latter of whom lost four-star safety Ivan Taylor to Michigan on Monday, on July 18.
