UCLA football adds performance coach to DeShaun Foster’s staff

Another coaching staff addition.

The UCLA Bruins football program has a solid coaching staff in place as DeShaun Foster has added a ton of veteran names for this season.

The Bruins have added a new name, hiring Corey Miller as the head football performance coach, per the official release.

Corey Miller has been named UCLA’s head football performance coach, head coach DeShaun Foster announced Tuesday. Miller is in his ninth year of football strength and conditioning, a field he entered after his own playing career was completed.

Miller was with the Bruins for a year and a half as the director of speed and movement before joining the Carolina Panthers staff.

Foster released a statement on the hire:

“I was impressed by Coach Miller’s ability to get the most out of players during his previous time with our program,” said Foster. “With his added NFL experience, I feel there is no one better to uphold our pillars while preparing the Bruins for Big Ten Conference play and beyond.”
