Are the San Antonio Spurs a potential playoff team after making serious offseason additions?

If they are not quite, might they get there with another mid-season move?

It would have been a wild question to ask even a few weeks ago, but after a series of unexpected moves by the team’s front office, such a question now is borderline plausible: Are the San Antonio Spurs a potential playoff team after making serious offseason additions?

This is the question on the edge of all of our minds now that the Spurs have signed veteran floor general Chris Paul away from the Golden State Warriors, and traded for longtime Sacramento Kings veteran forward Harrison Barnes. If they are not quite there, might they get there with another mid-season move? Or should we just let things take their course given the strength of next year’s NBA draft?

The host of the “Locked On Spurs” podcast, Jeff Garcia, sat down with “Sweep The League” host Rudy Campos to talk it over. Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say.
