Jets fan Craig Carton set for induction into the New York State Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame

Craig Carton has been named to the New York State Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame.

Craig Carton, one of the most prominent fans of the New York Jets in the media, is set for induction into the New York State Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame.

Carton rose to fame on New York sports talk station WFAN, where his bold and outspoken style meshed well with New York sports fans. Passionate about his teams, Carton was perhaps always most passionate about the Jets.

His 10-year partnership with former Jets quarterback Boomer Esiason was a well-balanced show that was among the best in New York sports talk history.

Even now with a move to FS1, Carton continues to laboriously cover the Jets, making the organization a near fixture on the national show.

The luncheon for Carton and the other inductees into the hall of fame is scheduled for October 23 at the Rainbow Room in New York City.
