Charisma Osborne returns to LA as Mercury beat Sparks

Welcome back.

Despite not playing in the game, Charisma Osborne returned to Los Angeles for a win. Osborne’s teammates picked up a big win on Sunday over the Los Angeles Sparks.

Osborne was signed back with the Mercury back in mid-June. She was originally waived by the Mercury on May 11th. She was the 25th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.

Her rookie season has not seen a ton of action yet, as she has played in just two games, and nine total minutes, scoring just a lone basket.

While at UCLA, she scored shy of 15 points per game, ripped down 5.6 rebounds, and dished out 3.1 assists per game. Osborne was a five-year starter and finished at UCLA as the all-time leader in games played and three-pointers made.

Following the win, Osborne took to Twitter to help celebrate her teammates’ winning on the road in Los Angeles:

The Mercury play Wednesday at home against the Dallas Wings. Following that, they will play three straight road games to end the first half of the WNBA season.
