WATCH: Colts’ WR Ashton Dulin goes through on-field workout

Working his way back from an ACL injury, Colts’ wide receiver Ashton Dulin posted a video of him going through an on-field workout.

With training camp on the horizon, Colts’ wide receiver Ashton Dulin, who is working his way back from an ACL injury, posted a video of him going through on-field workouts.

Dulin did not participate in OTAs or minicamp, but is in a good spot with his rehab.

“I’m feeling great,” Dulin said during his offseason media availability. “I’m at a point in rehab where we’re ready to get rolling and get back on the field. No timetable yet but leave it up to the doctors. It’s above my pay grade. I’m feeling good, body is feeling great. I can’t complain at all.”

Dulin suffered the ACL injury last August, ending his 2023 season before it could even get going.

During the 2022 season, Dulin would catch 15 of his 20 targets at nearly 14.0 yards per catch with one touchdown. Throughout his career, he’s been a core special teams contributor for the Colts, playing across four different phases, which includes handling kick return duties.

“Dulin was a huge loss,” GM Chris Ballard said. “Just because he gives you so much, not only on special teams, but his ability to play inside and outside. If you have to start him for a stretch, he can do it.”

With the additions of Adonai Mitchell and Anthony Gould in the draft, the Colts’ receiver room has gotten a bit crowded. However, with Dulin’s ability to contribute on special teams and the stability he can provide on offense if the Colts are in a pinch, he has a path to carving out a roster spot as the team’s sixth wideout.

The Colts first training camp practice will be held on July 25th. As of now, it is not known if Dulin will be participating in the on-field drills or not.
