Today for 55 days we are going to celebrate Bruins redshirt freshman A.J. Fuimaono. From Las Vegas, Nevada, Fuimaono played his high school football at Liberty High School. A.J. is a great big defensive lineman who wears the number 55 for the Bruins!
He played in one game; against North Carolina Central in 2023 before red-shirting. He enrolled in January of 2023 after graduating high school early. He was the 12th-best prospect out in the state of Nevada when he came to the Bruins.
In April of 2024, Fuimaono was named the student-athlete of the week by the UCLA Bruins.

It is unsure where Fiomaono sits on the depth chart for the Bruins following the departure of Chip Kelly and the addition of DeShaun Foster.
