Tennessee baseball and head coach Tony Vitello received a commitment from the NCAA transfer portal on Thursday.
Louisville sophomore infielder Gavin Kilen announced his commitment to the Vols.
“See you soon, Knoxville,” Kilen said.
The 5-foot-11, 180-pound transfer appeared in 102 games, including 94 starts, at Louisville from 2023-24. Kilen recorded a .309 batting average, 10 home runs, 62 RBIs, 65 runs, 17 walks and three stolen bases for the Cardinals. He also recorded a .966 fielding percentage.
Kilen is currently playing for Falmouth in the Cape Cod Baseball League.
He went to Louisville from Milton High School in Milton, Wisconsin.
Tennessee won the national championship, SEC Tournament and regular season title in 2024.
