The 2024 NBA draft is nearly upon us, and the San Antonio Spurs’ front office is armed with a pair of lottery picks they can use to add talent to the roster that is an ideal fit for their rising star forward, Victor Wembanyama.
There are a lot of ways that the Spurs could do so using their Nos. 4 and 8 picks in the ’24 draft. They could of course simply draft away with both picks where they are, combine them to move up, add more picks to their war chest by trading back, or even use one or both picks to bring on an established player or two via trade.
With star Spurs Victor Wembanyama looking ready to compete at the highest levels ahead of even ambitious predictions, it’s clear that a shift is needed for San Antonio.
